Over 3 days, your child will embrace their creative side as they design and code their very own computer game. The perfect place to start for beginners who want to kick start their coding journey, and kids with some coding experience will love it too.

Our friendly and experienced staff will be waiting to greet you at camp. Look out for our Camp Manager in an orange Code Camp t-shirt, they’re also a qualified teacher and first aid trained. Before we start coding we spend some time with your child brainstorming and digital storytelling; choosing magical backgrounds, a hero from our huge range of characters including DreamWorks Trolls, and designing the first level of our game.
Once designed we use block coding to bring our world to life adding animation, in-game physics (gravity), and movement (left, right, jumping).
Day two is where your child’s game becomes a blockbuster with baddies, snowball-throwing-unicorns, spinning platforms and deadly lava!
It's all about brainstorming, designing, and then coding the fun elements that will set their game apart from the others.
It’s the final day of Spark and we’re getting ready to unleash our creations into the world for all to play!
Your child will design an arcade-style game (similar to Mario Bros) and bring it to life with awesome characters.
Your child will use a drag-and-drop editor, code and logic to bring their game to life.

Where your child becomes the creator! Your child will design an engaging platform game (similar to Mario Bros.), and then bring it to life with intuitive, yet powerful, drag and drop code. Learning the fundamentals of coding gives children the confidence and knowledge to be in control with technology – not just as a passive consumer, but as a creator, problem solver, and digital storyteller.
PS: Your child's game will be downloadable onto all devices, and shareable with family and friends around the world!

We recommend bringing a hat, water bottle, sunscreen and a nut-free packed crunch and sip, recess, and lunch.
We have some of the best student-teacher ratios to ensure every child has a positive experience. Most of our classes are capped at 28 students with a 1:8 teacher-student ratio.
Most of our camps are suitable for absolute beginners. Ignite requires a basic understanding of drag & drop coding, while kids attending Blast 3D and Web Builders need to be proficient at line coding.
Our camps are well staffed and we do not have parents stay for the day. If there is a particular reason that you’d like to attend, please get in contact with us to discuss.
Whilst we do not run programs specifically designed to cater for students with special needs, our aim is to be as inclusive as possible. If your child attends a mainstream school and is comfortable in a classroom environment, they are welcome to attend. We will ask about their needs at enrolment. We are unable to provide 1:1 support, however if your child has a support worker they may attend with them. Please contact us to discuss your child’s individual needs.
If a child is within 3 months of the recommended age, for most of our programs it is up to the parent to determine if the child is capable. Our camps are structured for the specified age range and with 1:8 ratios, so one on one support for a younger child will not be available. Unless the child is displaying maturity levels and academic capabilities of an older child, we don’t recommend it however feel free to contact us at hello@codecamp.com.au to discuss what's suitable for your child. Please note that due to legal and safety requirements, children participating in Drone Camp must be aged 9 and above.
When you enrol your child, you will receive a referral code which can be used to save $20 off your sibling booking.
